Active Music Management is a long established management company dealing mainly in Pop and Dance Music, although it has been know to deviate from these genres.
The managers have been responsible for the discovery of such luminaries as Kevin Rowland (Killjoys and Dexy’s Midnight Runners) Maria Lawson, who is best known for blowing the judges away on X Factor ! Even though Simon Cowell turned her down for a record deal, 5 years earlier ! Gillian (Ntrance), Lara McAllen (Angel City and All Around The World) 21st Century Girls and BOYSTEROUS, also managing and mentoring such artistes as Taffy (I Love My Radio ) Mash “ You don’t Have To Say You Love Me) Bronski Beat, Sergio Flores, Karen Gibbs, Anne Marie and many more!
Currently, the company is developing Lara McAllen as a writer, having moved to All Around The World from Ministry of Sound, Lara has a number of singles being released that she has co-written with her writing partner Karen Gibbs and are being remixed by Flip and Fill., Lara will be fronting some of them, however, she has written songs for the label’s roster of dance artistes.
Also being developed is Anne-Marie, who whilst being born in England, was of a French father and an Italian Mother, she is therefore fluent in French, Italian and of course English.
She is currently recording an album of French classics, but is also working with Karen Gibbs recording Trance tracks in French. Italian and English.
