2005 sees the n Kylie!!
2005 saw the release of Lara’s album ( Angel City) which on the first week of release went into the Top 10and also into the Billboard Top 100, which at the time was unheard of for a British Pop/Dance song.
Lara went to America on several occasions to promote the single and the American people took her to their hearts, so much so, she jumped right up the Billboard Top 100 charts.
Three further songs from “ Angel City “ the album were released in 2006 and 2007 which were “ Do You Know “, “Sunrise “both went into the Top 10 and “ Touch Me “ into the Top 12.
During much of 2007 Lara spent a lot of her time touring all over Europe including Russia! Where whenever she appeared the crowd went wild. She has spent the last twelve months in the studios writing new songs with her writing partner Karen Gibbs. Not only for herself but other artists as well.
This period of writing seclusion led to her songs appearing films and covered by a number of artists.
All this led to her to her collaborating with Flip and Fill for All Around The World, where she has written a number of songs that have appeared on the Clubland series of albums.
Lara appeared on the Clubland Tour, where she performed her new songs, which was a massive success, the tour took in Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland and England. The tour having sold out totally!
Ironically, this success has led to be being asked by Ministry of Sound to perform on the new “Dance Nation “Tour which takes place across the UK from April 5 th 2009.
During one her writing sessions with Karen, she was sent a backing track by the American songwriter Stephen Singer, although he can’t sing J ! To which she and Karen wrote the top line forming the song “That’s How Love Is” !
When the song was sent to “Next Plateau Records “in the USA the issued a contract immediately and want Lara to write an album in addition two new singles.
“That’s How Love Is “will be going to radio in the USA in May, so her dream of performing in the USA on a more permanent basis has come true!
